The metal used in the outer case of oil seals is usually made of carbon steel. Upon request, and depending on quantities, a different type of steel (such as stainless steel) can be used.
Apply gasket sealant to the engine flange and refit the cover. Tighten the fixings but do not overtighten them.
A typical spark plug consists of a ceramic insulator, a central electrode, and a ground electrode. When an electric current is passed through the plug, it creates a high voltage arc between the central and ground electrodes. This arc ionizes the air-fuel mixture, creating a plasma that rapidly expands and pushes the piston down the cylinder, generating mechanical energy.2, oil seal lightweight, fewer supplies. Each type of oil seal is a combination of thin-walled metal parts and rubber parts, and its material consumption is very small so that each oil seal has a lightweight.
Standard springs are made of carbon steel. We use stainless-steel springs for our GR and GRST oil seals made from FKM rubber. In some rare cases, an O-ring is even used as a spring element. Standard PTFE lip seals are not fitted with springs.
Another type of seal design has the metal encased in rubber (Figure 2.11).
